One of the most important parts of our everyday life is transportation. It is the basic reason for making our world a global village, along with technology of course. However, our concern throughout this semester is going to be about transportation, specifically cars and motorcycles. For every positive aspect we have a negative one opposite to it. Advantage of cars and bikes are the easy and fast transportation from one place to the other. On the other hand, we can find many disadvantages for these two inventions and some of the most common and known of all are accidents, injuries and death. That is why, we have certain rules and laws that should be applied on the roads. Also, we have safety measures and precautions that are also important to keep people in cars and on motorcycles safe and sound. Throughout this course we will come across all of these and many more, with live examples of breaking the rules, some accidents and likewise cases.

Discussion questions:

1) Have you or someone you know ever experienced a car or bike accident? Tell me your story.

2) In your opinion, what do you think should a person do to prevent getting into a car crash?

3) Would you rather drive a car or a bike? Slow or fast? Follow rules or break them?
